Step 1: Sign up on Ginger Dating Sites

In order to kick start the ginger dating process, I decided to join a ginger dating website.  So I Google searched "ginger dating".  I came up with two different dating sites (or so I thought), dedicated entirely to redheads and those looking to date them.  HotForGinger and DateGinger.  After joining both of them (free membership), it turns out that they are pretty much exactly the same website...with most of the same profiles as well.  So I may end up with two profiles on the same site.  Oh well, if they don't find one, maybe they'll find the other.  And so it begins!  Wish me luck (of the Irish variety)!

All quiet on the ginger front

It's been a slow week in my search for a ginger to date. The holidays will be here shortly and that tends to make people preoccupied with other things. Guess I should have started after the New Year. But since I'm already up and running, I have decided to dedicate a post to some of my favorite ginger men. (And if anyone happens to know them, please direct them my way :-))

Calling All Gingers!

A few months ago, I made it known to my friends that I "have a thing" for gingers.  They teased me about it for a bit before they realized that I was completely serious.  Ginger love runs in my family.  My grandfather liked ginger girls (although he did not marry one), and my mother also dipped her toe in the ginger dating pool.  I had my first ginger "boyfriend" in the 5th grade....freckles and all.  In high school, I was in a serious relationship with a ginger.  Since then, I have kept my ginger love under wraps for the most part, but I was secretly always on the lookout.  Now that I have made my love known, my friends are perfectly willing to scout them out for me.  This gave me the wonderful idea of asking others to recommend gingers for me to date.  Which turned into the idea for this blog. So....here we go!

A few little notes:
I am 28 so keep that in mind when recommending gingers. Try to keep ages between 24 and 40 please.
I currently live in the Washington, DC area. Local gingers are preferred, but others will not be ruled out.
No nude photos please. I am willing to accept the authenticity of gingerhood at face value.  I do not need proof that the carpet matches the drapes.
